Cazaubon-Barbotan on the move for leisure and nature activities in 2025!
 
At the end of February 2025, the commune of Cazaubon Barbotan les Thermes, in the north-west of the département, took its 1st step into the world of mountain biking. Thanks to the work of the Tourist Office and the support of the departmental branch of the Fédération Française de Vélo, 2 signposted mountain bike trails have been created, starting from the Lac de l'Uby leisure centre. 
The first is a very easy 6km route around the lake (green index), suitable for beginners and families, followed by a second easy 16km route (blue index), winding through the surrounding countryside and allowing mountain bikers to discover the destination, where the rhythm of life is gentle, well-being and nature.

The Barbotan les Thermes Tourist Office is currently considering other cycling and mountain biking projects, with the aim of expanding its range of Slow Tourism activities.
