La Pobla de Segur

La Pobla de Segur is a municipality in Catalonia, belonging to the province of Lleida, in the region of Pallars Jussà, located in the centre of the region and considered one of the gateways to the Pyrenees. The town is divided by the river Flamisell into its two most important centres.

It is the second most important town in the region. It occupies an area of 32.83 km2. The municipality includes the villages and hamlets of Gramuntill, Montsor, Pumanyons and Sant Joan de Vinyafrescal.
