I suggest a circular route through Pla de Boet and Arcalís, a very easy route with an elevation gain of about 200 metres and a total distance of 6 kilometres, which can be extended if desired to the Arscorbes lakes (an additional 7 kilometres and another 350 metres of elevation gain).
Suitable for everyone up to Pla d'Arcalís and accessible up to Estanys d'Ascorbes for those with a minimum level of physical fitness.

Suitable for everyone up to Pla d'Arcalís and accessible up to Estanys d'Ascorbes for those with a minimum level of physical fitness.
Route:
We will leave by car from the village of Àreu, where we will take a somewhat rough forest track for about 11 kilometres until we reach the Molinassa car park, where we will park the car and decide whether to continue to the Estanys d'Ascorbes or start the return journey.
The excursion begins where hikers start the route that leads to Pica d'Estats, turning off after about 500 metres towards the Vall Farrera Refuge, while we continue without turning off towards Pla de Boet, where in 10 minutes we will be enjoying an open area with a river running through the middle and at the end we will find the Boet Waterfall.
We will continue climbing for another 20 minutes to finally reach Pla d'Arcalis, where we will cross a wooden bridge and stop for breakfast or lunch while we decide whether or not to continue on to the Ascorbes lakes, which will take us another 1.5 hours and 350 metres of elevation gain.
We will begin the return journey by completing the circular route from Pla d'Arcalís, heading towards Lo Mercat, to Pla de Boet. The descent is very easy, with extraordinary views of Pla de Boet.
The walking tour lasts around 3 hours to Pla d'Arcalís, including a stop for breakfast/lunch, and around 6 hours if you go on to the Ascorbes lakes.
Enjoy!
