First mentioned in records dating from the late 10th century, the present church is in the Lombard Romanesque style and was consecrated in 1106. It features the characteristic decoration of blind arches on the exterior and, inside, a copy of the mural paintings from the apse.
The original paintings are housed in the Diocesan Regional Museum of Solsona. The church underwent renovations in the 14th, 18th and 19th centuries, during which side chapels were added.
