The church is of Romanesque origin, with a single-nave structure and no apse. Over the centuries, new elements have been added, giving it its present appearance. The most remarkable feature is the slender, square tower bell-chamber, which rises in the south-west corner of the building.

Before entering, it is worth noting the curious masks carved on the church's very façade, on either side of the doorway, and the small rose window. The portal consists of three concentric semicircular archways.

The interior of the church has several rectangular chapels, opening on either side of the nave in a later extension. The nave is covered with a Baroque lunette vault. However, it is not currently freely accessible.
