  • Located to the north of the complex, the church encloses the enclosure on this side, incorporating the tower and apses into the defensive system. At the foot is the abbey house and, to the south, separated by a wall, the cemetery.

It is made of limestone ashlars.

It has a large single nave with two side chapels and a chancel with three apses, built over a crypt, connected to each other and with the sides closed at the front, so that only the central apse is open to the nave.

Its layout on the steep terrain allows for the presence of the crypt at a lower level. It had access from both sides of the nave, although only the one on the Epistle side is currently accessible. It is made up of three low apses, consisting of straight sections, connected by a transversal corridor; the straight sections are covered with a barrel vault and the apses with a quarter-sphere.

The nave is covered with a barrel vault, as are the straight sections that precede the apses, and the apses are covered with a quarter sphere. The nave was extended with a chapel on each side, which was covered with a barrel vault; at the foot of the nave, a wooden choir was placed over a segmental arch and connected to the abbey.
