A night in a tipi tent

In the heart of the Pyrenees, on the Gourette ski area, the night becomes Nordic: a snow Tipi will serve as your cocoon. L'Aventure Nordique offers you an unusual night combining the harshness of winter with the comfort of a warm welcome.

You'll start with a snowshoe walk that will take you to an ideal viewpoint for the sunset.

We return by headlamp and after a quick shower you slip into the Nordic bath. Water at 36°C in the open air. A real treat. The sauna also awaits you for a warm break.

You'll have an appetite for the meal! Aperitif with a glass of sweet Jurançon from an independent winegrower, garbure, duck confit, salardaise potatoes, Ossau Valley ewe's milk cheese and fruit. A good red wine, always from an independent winemaker, will accompany the meal, and you can finish with a coffee or herbal tea.

It's time to slip into your snow Tipi!

A comfortable, simple and stylish shelter, sleeping 2 (up to 6 from the same family or group), pillows and blankets are provided. With a surface area of 12 metres and a height of 2.75 metres, the Tipi is more comfortable to move around in than an igloo, but lacks the unusual feel of the snow. To each his own!

Feel like skiing the next morning?

Take your equipment up to the Nordic village, we'll store it safely and in the morning, you can buy your day ski pass at the normal rate at the hut. As soon as the slopes open, you can ski from the hut and head off for a day in the resort with the biggest vertical drop in the Pyrenees!
