The Kakueta Gorge is a 4.5 km gorge formed by the Uhaitza River. It is located in the municipality of Sainte-Engrâce in the French Basque Country (France). It is located in the western part of the Pyrenees. The Kakueta rises in the Urdaite or Arrakogoiti pass on the border with Navarre, near Isaba. It flows between the Lakora, Larregorri, Yhizkundize, Larragneburia, Binbaleta and Eskantolha mountains.   The gorge is a narrow gorge cut into the limestone, full of caves, grottoes and waterfalls.
