Pic du Taillon, or Le Taillon, is a peak on the Franco-Spanish border in the Mont Perdu massif.
The pic du Taillon is considered to be one of the easiest 3000m summits in the Gavarnie cirque. Only the last section, from the Fausse Brèche finger, is a little steep but never technically difficult when there is no snow.
The panorama from the summit is breathtaking, offering views of the Mont-Perdu massif, the Vignemale massif, the Néouvielle massif, Balaïtous and the Pic du Midi de Bigorre on a clear day.
