It has 6 places. You get to the Ribaescorjada Hut (2,075 metres alt.) by car to El Tarter. From here you walk along the camí del Pla de Buscalls to el Planell de Riba Escorxada and also past les Bordes de Riguae to the Riba Escorxada pass. The walk is easy, takes about three hours and climbs 350 metres.
This is a stone hut opened in 1981 and which has bunks, a fireplace and water alongside. It is not guarded and opens all year, but it is usually maintained in the summer months (cleaning, firewood, first aid kits...). There is a signal for mobile phones at the hut.
