It holds up to 6 people and was opened in 1981. The Rialb Hut is at an altitude of 1,990 metres. This is an ancient traditional Andorran ‘Borda’, refurbished and turned into a mountain hut. It has bunks and fireplace. The hut is not guarded and is open all year, but it is usually maintained in the summer months (cleaning, firewood, first aid kits...).
You can get there by car along the Sorteny Road to the Puntal Bridge. From here on foot along the Rialb River and passing "La Rabassa" or "Font Freda". This is a walk of around one hour, with an easy climb of 240 metres. There is a mobile phon
