It has a capacity for up to 20 people. You get to the Cabana Sorda (opened in 1981) by car to les Bordes d’Incles (km 1.5 along the carretera d’Incles) and from here on foot along the path over the Feno Fou hillside. It is about a 2 hour walk, climbing 430 metres. Very nearby there is the Cabana Sorda Lake which is very popular among fishermen and families of hikers.
The hut has a fireplace and is easy to get to. The hut is not guarded and is open all year, but it is usually maintained in the summer months (cleaning, firewood, first aid kits...). There is also a mobile phone signal.
