The El Águila hostel was born in 1981 from the dream of some lovers of these moutains, who turned a family chalet 1nto the ist moutain refuge in a ski resort, Candanchú. After sereval renovations, in 1992 the largest work was carried out to accomodate the current distribution with 2 floors of multiple rooms and in 1997 the quadruple rooms with bathroom appeared to provide a better service.

Ski instructors have lived here during the season, future instructors have found "refuge" during their training, families, individuals, groups of friends, camps, schools, ikastolas, youth centers of town halls, competition and sports have passed through our rooms. Moutain,....thousands of adults, young people and children who come to our moutains to enjoy alpine, snow or cross-country ski courses, to train, train or compete, to go in these beautiful places....

After a new reform, both of the common spaces and the rooms, we embark on a new stage that we hope will last a long time and in which we want to create new memories with you.

For all that has happened, we want to thank each and every one of those who, as clients, friends or workers, have shared a piece of the journey with us thoughout these almost 40 years. A path that we will always follow together in search of improving our services.
