Heritage
The Notre-Dame de Bétharram chapel was built in 1650 in the baroque style. Its interior decoration is remarkable (paintings, baroque altarpiece, statue of Notre-Dame de Bétharram...) The Calvary, destroyed during the French Revolution, was rebuilt between 1840 and 1873. It evokes the passion and death of Christ in fifteen stations, with thirteen chapels of varied architecture. It leads to the esplanade of the Resurrection, where a cross was miraculously erected in 1616. The Saint-Roch fountain draws water from a spring with miraculous virtues.
