This church is built on the stone where the river Valira del Nord passes through a deep gorge between the stone walls and dense riverside vegetation on the road that formerly connected the parishes of La Massana and Escaldes-Engordany.
This chapel is dedicated to St Antoni Abat, the patron saint of the ‘arrieros’, and was restored in the late 20th century. The gathering is held on the 17th of January.
