On the outskirts of the town of Ibieca is the majestic church of Sant Miguel de Foces (XIII), declared a National Monument, in an environment of great scenic beauty. Built on the initiative of Don Ximeno de Foces, lord of these lands in the 13th century, it must have formed part of a larger complex, made upo of a hospital and monastery, of which only a few remain.   The church was built as the pantheon of the Foces family.
